 On May 6th, 1997 HANSON released their debut album, Middle of Nowhere. The classic rock ‘n’ roll and R&B influences mixed with modern beats and rich harmonies were a sharp contrast to the current state of music, dominated by the Alternative scene. This new sound was a bold introduction to the world and was welcomed by music fans and critics alike. Selling more than 8 million copies, it was lead by the song MmmBop, a #1 hit single in 27 countries. Other singles included Where’s the Love, Weird and I Will Come to You.
10 years later, HANSON released an acoustic album of Middle of Nowhere featuring selected songs from the multi plantinum album. Middle of Nowhere Acoustic was recorded in front of a live studio audience in Tulsa, Oklahoma at The Blank Slate. Visit HANSON.NET to purchase the new release.
